Temporal connectors als wenn bevor nachdem während bis

Als introduces a single past occasion or a particular past period; wenn can describe repeated occasions or conditions. Bevor means before, nachdem after, während while and bis until. These subordinators put the finite verb last. After nachdem, choose tenses that make the order of events clear; the example uses past perfect before a past main event.
