Genitiv possession questions and pronouns

Genitive can express a relationship or possession: das Fahrrad des Kindes. Ask wessen. Masculine and neuter singular nouns usually add -s or -es, with exceptions such as weak masculine nouns. Feminine and plural nouns do not add this genitive ending. Personal genitive pronouns are rare in everyday speech and differ from possessive determiners.
