Accusative and dative prepositions
Some prepositions have a fixed case. Learn für with accusative and mit with dative, rather than guessing from an English translation. In dative plural, a noun commonly adds -n unless it already ends in -n or -s: mit den Kindern, mit den Autos. Two-way spatial prepositions have their own location/destination pattern.
