Darum deshalb and deswegen express consequences

Darum, deshalb and deswegen can mean therefore or for that reason. If one starts a main clause, it fills the first position and the conjugated verb follows immediately. Their differences often depend on context; these exercises focus on the shared consequence pattern rather than claiming only one synonym is possible.
